OUR COMMITTEES MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Committees are the backbone of a REALTOR® association, driving advocacy, education, and member engagement. They provide a platform for REALTORS® to shape industry policies, enhance professional development, and strengthen the real estate community. By serving on a committee, members gain valuable leadership experience, expand their networks, and make a lasting impact on their association and the industry as a whole.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

The Community Outreach Committee is how we give back to the community, by identifying and executing community service projects throughout the year.

 

What We Do

  • Find ways to “give back” and support our local communities
  • Participate in volunteer efforts


GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

The Governmental Affairs Committee ensures our community's interests are well-represented and advocated for at every level of government.

 

What We Do

  • Review current issues affecting the real estate industry
  • Attend local governance meetings
  • Recommend to the Board of Directors where we should stand on current issues
  • Support political campaigns, forums, and grassroots lobbying


MEMBERSHIP

The Membership Committee assists with recruitment and involvement of members in the Association by planning events and other creative benefits for our members.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Professional Development Committee focuses on education, personal development, growth, and success. If you have experience in education or training, this is a great opportunity to use those skills.

 

What We Do

  • Plan, promote, and implement educational programs
  • Oversee the Scholarship Program
  • Oversee New Member Orientation


PROPERTY TOURS

The Property Tours Committee oversees the Property Tours from start to finish, allowing members the opportunity to showcase their listings.

 

What We Do

  • Quarterly Property Tours planning sessions
  • Review and maintain Property Tours guidelines and process


TREPAC

The TREPAC Committee assists in advocacy efforts, ensuring members understand the importance of investing in protecting property rights, as well as helping the Association secure contributions through a variety of avenues.

  • Plan events to secure contributions
  • Create opportunities for recognition of investors
