RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS
LICENSES MUST BE RENEWED EVERY 2 YEARS
First-Time Renewals
90 HOURS (SAE)
Must include:
- 30-hour Real Estate Brokerage course
- 4 hours of Legal Update I
- 4 hours of Legal Update II
Continuous Renewals
18 HOURS
Must include:
- 3 hours of contract-related courses
- 4 hours of Legal Update I
- 4 hours of Legal Update II
- 7 hours of elective courses
C2EX develops and enhances competencies that indicate a REALTOR®'s commitment to ethics, advocacy, technology, data privacy, and customer service.
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time every three years. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
Designations and certifications acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by NAR and its affiliates.
Code of Ethics Training
Fulfill your Code of Ethics training requirement with courses for new and existing members, the C2EX program, as well as a paid CE option.

Fulfill your Fair Housing / Anti-Bias training requirement with courses for new and existing members, the Fairhaven simulation, as well as a paid CE option.
